Its taken us a while as a family to get rid of all the junk from our home, we still do have the occasion biscuit , chips or ice block for a treat but they are no longer every day foods.
I am trying to teach my kids that you want to eat food that will nourish your body and how dangerous sugar can be to you. If it pre packaged and lasts ages in the cupboard its probably not good for you.
I just want to show you what i made my kids today for their school lunches.
We don't do sandwiches or bread anymore. We also use a tackle box which i got the idea off another Facebook page (you can get these at any hard wear store or plastic shop and we covered the lids in stickers)
Its fantastic cause the fishing tackle box has small compartments so the kids think they are getting more, but the portions are small.

Other idea of what to put in, Boiled egg, almonds, carrots, hummus, other fruit and cut veg.
